Placing an order

Payment is required up front in full for all orders. Ready made items will be shipped within 3 working days. Bespoke orders take 2-3 weeks to complete before being shipped.

I will do my best to correctly reflect the current stock for all products. If for any reason a product is not available, I will contact you to discuss your options and do my upmost to get a new item made for you as soon as possible. If you cannot wait, you have the option of cancelling your order.


Payment terms

You will be charged on your credit/debit account for payment upon receipt of your order unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within 30 days. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account then we can cancel the contract and / or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.


Delivery charges vary according to the type of goods ordered and cannot be refunded. I use royal mail 1st  & 2nd class for the majority of orders and will deliver the goods to the address specified when the order was placed. It is important that this address is accurate.  I will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted. Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed. Once the item as left my care at a post-office I cannot be held responsible for how long delivery takes.

Personalised & Bespoke Products

Due to the nature of personalised & bespoke orders I am unable to offer a refund if you change your mind. Please ensure all spellings and details are correct as any errors made on your part cannot be rectified once made. If the item is faulty or I have made an error, please be assured that I happily refund or replace your item as soon as possible.

Please note that all items are handmade by me. I do not use a template or machine to create the designs. Therefore it is only natural that the design, shapes and sizes will differ slightly from product to product. I cannot use the exact same patterns or fabrics for each design…. but this is what makes each item unique.

Returns and exchange details

I want you to be delighted with your order, but if for some reason you are not happy, please contact me within 30 days of receiving your item. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer, but will be refunded if the item is deemed faulty. Items should be returned in their original packaging and in the condition they were sent out in within 30 days. Items will not be refunded if they are returned damaged in some way due to incorrect return packaging. For obvious reasons, custom pieces are not able to be refunded or exchanged unless deemed to have a fault.

I will issue a refund via the payment method used within 30 days of receiving the returned goods, providing they are returned in the condition they were in when delivered.

You will be re-credited for the costs incurred in returning faulty or unsatisfactory goods.

Cancellation by White Stitch Lane

I reserve the right to cancel your order if:
a)I do not have the item ordered in stock
b) I do not deliver to your area
c) one or more of the items ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typing error.
